Well it took me about two years, I got into a program when I was in high school and during my junior and senior year I attended BOCES ( a tech school in NY) from 11:50am-2:45pm. I graduated high school in June 2007 and took my license test in nov. 2007
You don't earn a Bachelors degree...Cosmetology isn't a College like a University, it only lasts a year, and goes by hours, not years...The only 'Degree' you earn, is a Cosmetology License.

You can not transfer your liscense. You have to take a license test in VA. VA may have different requirements than the state of Texas.
If it is your license then you can just contact your state board. If it is someone elses license and they are abusing their rights as a cosmetologist then you can report them to the state board. If they feel that you are right they can take their license away.

You then enroll and fulfill the requirements in pursing that degree. I do not think that you can take college courses to prepare for cosmetology. You need to attend a cosmetology school for that particular job field.
