Well, it depends. To aquire gold CoD4 weapons, you must accomplish all Marksman and Expert challenges for every weapon in each category (Usually 100 kills for Marksman and 150 headshots for Expert). Depending on the gold weapon wanted, your skill, and the amount of time you play, it can take a short or long amount of time. The gold Dragunov, for example, is easy to get because while sniping you can easily aim headshots, while for other weapons used in close combat, it is harder because you usually dont have time to aim.
