Around 2 hours depending on conditions.
40 to 45 minutes - depending on traffic conditions of course
roughly about 14 hours
Prestwick's population is 14,934.
Glasgow and prestwick airports both serve Glasgow but are in completely different locations. Glasgow Intl. Airport is in the village of Abbotsinch, near Paisley and Renfrew and Prestwick is in the town of Prestwick, Ayrshire. Glasgow Intl. is bigger and has more airlines (Continental, BA, Easyjet, Thomson etc) and Prestwick mainly accomodates for the low cost market (Ryanair and Wizzair). Prestwick has a direct rail link to Glasgow city centre but with Glasgow intl. you will have to take the bus to Paisley Gilmour Street station and trains run from there to Central. If your looking for a low cost, easy to get to place, go Prestwick, if your travelling mid/long haul, want to be nearer to the city and don't mind taking a taxi, the Glasgow Intl.
Not far at all. Maybe a 10 - 15 minute walk at the most. There is a connecting train station at the airport, the train to Prestwick town will only take a couple of minutes. There are also a few buses that stop outside the airport and again they only take a few minutes to get you into the town.
Glasgow has 2 airports; Glasgow international (near paisley) and Glasgow prestwick (near prestwick in ayrshire). easyjet and flybe offer a service to Amsterdam from Glasgow intl. but there are no services to Amsterdam from prestwick. it will take you about 1 hour at least and 2 hours at most.
If it's Prestwick, SC it is 4,323 miles. If it's Prestwick, AL it is 4,751 miles. If it's Prestwick, UK it is 648 miles.
