It depends on the mode of transportation, and with those modes of transportation the type of equipment or vehicle.

In a small one prop plane, for example, it could take perhaps 20-30 min. In a regional jet, even less. Of course this varies based on several changing variables of the environment that you are traveling.

In an automobile, it would vary based upon the route and traffic, but with a Google Earth search, ~30 min using A2 and other roads from Negril to Port Morant.

Boating would probably take a similar, if less, amount of time, but it depends on the boat and any traffic at any ports.

Average, I'd say you're pretty roused at half an hour.

It depends on where you are leaving from. Jamaica is about an hour plane ride from Miami and 4 hours from the New York Area.
