if you use a games hark then you scroll down to eggs it says bad egg and you use it then you have a bad egg you hat ch it by going to route 101 and a lady battles you. you have to lose just leaving your egg on your team then it says the bad egg is hatching and it hatches into a magikarp that is shiny. your magikarp then faints after losing to the lady.

It varies, depends on the combo of the pokemon... what i do is go to the top of cycling road, then ride down it, fly back up, go down, fly back up, etc. it will hatch eventually

its faster to hacth a egg when you walk up and down (the loger you walk the faster your egg hatches
