that is up to the person. For some it may take months, while others it may take years. It is all up to how much time you put into playing. It is like any other instrument. I know that mandolin takes a little longer than most instruments because my guitar teacher playes mandolin and it took him 8 years practicing every day for 2 hours. And he is EXTREMELY good at bass, guitar, drums, piano, singing, and almost any other instrument you can think of.
10 years
Hitting a ball against a wall is something we automatically learn from birth.
If you practice every day to learn a good amount of songs, and have a good teacher, or good reference, then you can learn it in about 1year and not sound horrible.
One could advance from beginner to intermediate in 9 months. Depends upon the desire, practice, study and and advanced help one receives. Some people take longer. Learn to listen to yourself and others around you when you play. Learn to play in tune and with musical rhythm. That is how you grow and become a better player.
Getting a banjo in Nintendogs is sort of hard. You get it by going on walks and if your dog finds a gift in the street, you get the prize inside. It will be found in that, but it is really rare, so it will take a long time. Just go on walks a lot!
i am 12 years old and level four at piano, it took me a week to learn it off by heart.
Keep in mind that figuring out how to play the banjo is considerably more of a physical challenge than a mental one. It would take you a lot of repetitions and physical exercise to develop the abilities that are required for you to play the banjo. The three-finger Scruggs’ style technique is the simplest technique for playing the banjo. It provides simple and solid rhythmic music directly. This technique makes it easy to play the banjo while delivering pleasant music. Each instrument has different types of playing styles and learning curves so you would learn banjo as you would learn any other instrument. For some people, it might be easy and for some people, it might be difficult but that depends on how you learn to play it
It depends how long you practice every day

You should play the violin, it is classical and has a beautiful sound.Wow, I totally disagree. The violin is terribly difficult to get an agreeable sound in the beginning. It can take many weeks of scales and exercises before you can play the most basic of songs. The banjo is an instrumental that has been in one form or another around nearly as long as the violin. One form of the banjo the Akonting started in Africa and was brought over here by slaves.Using basic chord shapes and a simple strum you can play a simple song in just a few hours or less. But, if you like frustration go for the violin and give it a few years.
it took me three months without lessons...the first thing i did was learn about "tabs" and "chords"...then i wuld pick a song i liked and learned it

You can always take lessons.
Not long. They had to have a new play fully rehearsed and stage ready in two weeks, rehearsing mornings and playing in the afternoons.
The time taken to learn to play the guitar would vary with each individual, and depend on the amount of time practising, however, based on practise of 15 minutes per day you should be able to learn in around 3 months.
