12 time as long as you normally boil an egg. So for me 30 mins.
Roughly 10 minutes to boil the water; another 10-20 after adding the eggs; and then 2 if you "shortcut it" and just run them under cold water, or about 20 if you put them in the refrigerator.
Those are the approximate numbers for me, and I usually make a half-dozen at a time.
So, you're looking at anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour. Good luck!
The time depends on how "hard" one wants the egg cooked. The extra-large and jumbo sized eggs available today require somewhat longer cooking than the times listed in old cookbooks.
soft-cooked: 3-4 minutes
firm yolk: 5-6 minutes
hard-cooked: 15 minutes.

you boil and egg for 5 - 10 minutes maybe 15 if you want it hard boiled !

5 minutes depending on size... but the regular chicken egg is 5 minutes
From cold to boiling point then another 5 minutes. After that put them in cold water for a little while to avoid them going blue around the Yolk.
