Slurring of speech, mobility and lack of concentration are usually signs of a "Hypo" caused by low blood sugar levels and after administering some form of glucose or sugar can take around 5 to 20 minutes for the person to be fully fit and functioning correctly again
If a hypo goes untreated for a long period of time this usually leads to unconsciousness followed by Seizure which is commonly known by many as a "fit"
These can take a lot longer to come round from, I was recently hospitalized for 4 days following a diabetic seizure.
