It can't survive in a paper cup. To survive it must be kept at a very cold temperature and in a special container.

At room temperature, after about an hour I think they start dying off at an exponential rate. They don't all die at once.

Well, if it stored right like in a sperm bank were it is frozed a good 10 - 20 years. But if it just in a container in the heat not long.

I've heard that if the sperm do no reach their target - the unfertilised egg within 3 days, they die
