That depends on the size of your blanket.
Baby's Crib sized = 30 inches x 36 inches
Baby's Square Blankie = 36 inches x 36 inches
Children/Toddler Bed Size = 42 inches x 48 inches
Children/Toddler "carry" size = 30 inches x 48 inches
Adult Afghan (Twin bed size) = 48 inches x 75 inches
Full/Double Size Bed = 54 inches x 75 inches to cover the 'top'
Queen Size Bed = 60 inches x 80 inches to cover the 'top'
King Size Bed = 78 inches x 80 inches to cover the 'top'
If you want the blanket to drape over the 'top' edges of the bed you will need to make a bit larger. Don't forget to add a border!
