If you only smoked once, then it shouldn't take more than 2 weeks to get clean, at the very most. Marijuana usually stays in your system for 2 to 6 weeks, or a month on average, but that is for regular smokers. If you only smoked once in your life, then 2 weeks should be plenty of time.

The main active component of the Marijuana is THC. This substance is liposoluble, so it means it dissolves in lipids (fat), so it can dissolve in your fat and stay there until you burn that fat. There is this friend of a friend who was a doctor, or some sort of doctor, who took samples of blood to be tested for a company and there have been people who had smoked just a little in their life, or it had been a long time since it last had happened, and in their blood sample THC could be found, because that particular fat had burned.
So if you smoke it only twice in your life, there shouldn't be such a risk for it to stay for long, but there is the probability for it to happen.
