Our nasturtiums started blooming about five weeks after the large flower like green leaves came in. They were orange/red/yellow in color and have a cute little "tail" at the end of them. They have continued to grow and fruit since then (for at least the last two months now). It would seem the growing season continues all summer long. We take the "fruits/seeds" and save some for next year and pickle the rest like you would a caper. Hope this helps! Happy growing.
