I would suggest a Carnival Cruise for a family trip, but if you plan on going with your spouse, I would suggest going on a Norwegian Cruise. Carnival's cruise line is known well as the family vacation of a lifetime, not as the best to go on with your significant other. I have been on both cruise lines before, and I would suggest a Norwegian cruise.

It all depends on what you are looking for. If you want a traditional vacation look into Celebrity Cruises, Holland America Cruise line, or Cunard Cruise Line. If you want fun for Familes chose Carnival Cruise Line or Disney Cruise Line. If you want a cruise perfect for any occasion chose princess cruise line or Norwegian Cruise Line I've been on Carnival Cruise Lines and Princess Cruise Lines . And by far the best is Carnival . They have so much to offer . Their food is great and the activies on board are so much fun . The employes are very friendly people . I've also heard that Royal Caribbean is a wonderful cruise line . Have any of you guys been on Disney cruises? Because they're pretty fun too.

It is fairly rare for a Carnival Cruise ship to crash, however, there have been two crashes. There are no reports of cruise ships that have sunken though.

I have been on 2 cruises. If you are looking for a more festive, party-filled atmosphere, then Carnival cruise lines cannot be beat. If you are looking for a more relaxed cruise then I would suggest Norwegian or Grand Caribbean cruise lines.

he newer ships are very nice for a good professional opinion as well as comments by people who have been on the various ships search Cruise Critic I love Carnival cruises. I have been 3 or 4 times. The staff is very friendly, the ports are fun, and they have a good variety of activities for kids as well as adults.
Is costa cruise line a good cruise line?
Costa is owned by Carnival corp. Costa has been around for a long time so they must be doing something right. The first cruise that I ever took was on a Costa ship from Miami to Nassau. I loved it. Costa is great also if you like Italian food.

Has a carnival cruise line ship ever sunk?
A Carnival Cruise Line ship has never sunk but there have been some notable mishaps. On the maiden voyage of the only ship in the "Golden Fleet", the "Mardi Gras" ran aground and was delayed. Shortly thereafter, the ship's slot machines were raided to get money to buy fuel so the ship could continue its cruise. In 1989 the "Celebration" collided with a disabled Cuban cement hauling freighter, slicing it in half, with loss of three lives. The Celebration returned to port with bow damage. There have been several other incidents involving "bumps" into other ships (e.g. - Royal Caribbean "Enchantment of the Seas in 2009) and docks (e.g. - St. Kitts in January 2010) but a ship bearing Carnival's name has never sunk.
