Since May 7, 2008 Dmitriy Medvedev has been the president of Russia.I might be wrong but I thought that the leader of Russia is thePrime Minister(Vladimir Putin) and the President of Russia(Dmitriy Medvedev) is Second in Control.
First was Boris Yeltsin from 1991-1996. Viktor Chernomyrdin was acting president for part of November 1996, and then Boris Yeltsin served again until 1999. In 1999 Vladimir Putin became president until 2008 when he was succeeded by Dmitri Medvedev, who is currently serving. After the fall of the Soviet Union russia has had 3 presidents. the first was Boris Yeltsin Elected in 1991, Vladimir Putin Elected in 2000 and Dimitry Medvedev who is current president elected in 2008. Hope that answers your question. There have been four presidents in Russia so far: Michael Gorbachev, Boris Yeltsin, Vladimir Putin and Dmitriy Medvedev. To date, Russia has had three president's since the creation of the Russian Federation after the fall of the Soviet Union. The first president of Russia was Boris Yeltsin and served from 1991 to 1999. The second president of Russia was Vladimir Putin who served from 1999 to 2008. The third, and current, president of Russia is Dmitry Medvedev who has served since 2008.

Russia doesn't have a king. Since the October Revolution back in the early 1900s when the monarchy was abolished Russia is currently a Federal Semi-Presidential constitutioinal republic with Vladimir Putin as its President.
Yes. President Obama made clear to then President Medvedev (now Prime Minister) that he could work more closely with the Russians after Obama won re-election. President Obama has been true to his word and has been a close ally with President Putin in Syria, Iran, Egypt, Venezuela, Cuba, and Ukraine. President Obama would also like to work with Putin on eliminating U.S. nuclear weapons but the Republicans will likely block this initiative.
Alexander Lukashenko was the President of Belarus in 2014, and has been President since taking power in 1994 July 20. He is the first and only president Belarus has had since becoming a Republic, as previously their leader was the Chairman of the Supreme Soviet.

Russia is not, has never been, and most likely never will be, a member of NATO.
No, this did not happen. President Obama and Russian leader Vladimir Putin have a contentious relationship. Mr. Putin does not take orders from any other world leader, and prefers to do whatever he feels is in the best interests of Russia, whether other countries (including the US) agree with him or not. But since President Obama has long been a supporter of Israel, there is no reason why he would order any other country to send weapons to attack Israel.
There will probably be a mighty power struggle but officially, the Prime Minister then takes over until the Federation Council of Russia calls for new presidential elections and the winner has been duly sworn in.
