Donkeys have been entertainment for everyone and people have been buying the chance to ride one for years. the idea came out in around the Victorian times when children in blackpool were asking a man to ride his horse , the man ,we don't know who he is but he's the one who started it . he let the children ride on for free on his horse but as the word spread about people were doing it for not a lot but money. as it went on the poorer people wanted to earn money too but didnt own a horse, so rented out their family donkey this became even more popular and as donkeys were cheaper people thought this the most wonderful idea they could have. As time went by they worked themselves on the beach as there was a lot of people and the donkeys were comfortable.
