You would, to be competitive, need to have some type of graduate degree in healthcare. A MPH, MHA, MBA, ect. Also, the vast majority of people in that position are MDs, with many years of medical experience under their belt. In fact, a lot of MDs get MBAs, MHAs or MPHs to get access to those positions. Its very hard to do otherwise.
