The MOT test is applicable 3 years after the car was first registered!

What the hell is "mot" ? Is that an acronym, abbreviation or a typo? I'm assuming "mot" really means "mod" or modification to the car. How long? You can do it whenever you want. You just have to watch because a lot of mods will limit or void the warrantee. MOT = Ministry of Transport. A test carried out on cars every year to ensure they are roadworthy in the UK. A car needs its first MOT 3 years after first registration. Is this a great website or what? The things one learns!

Is a cell required for passive transport?

No. Diffusion (passive transport) can take place without a cell. For example, if you were to put some coloured food dye into a cup of water, the food dye would spread until it eventually was a uniform colour. This is the process of diffusion, which is the movement of a substance down a concentration gradient. Passive Transport means no energy is required.

Who is the minister for transport in Ireland?

Jack Lynch had two separate times as Taoiseach. In his 1966 to 1969 cabinet, Erskine Childers, later to become the President of Ireland, was Minister for Transport & Power and Posts & Telegraphs. In his 1969 to 1973 cabinet, Brian Lenihan was Minister for Transport and Power. Post and TElegraphs was a separate ministry at that period. Brian Lenihan was moved to another ministry in March 1973 and his position was taken by Michael O'Kennedy. From 1973 to 1977 Jack Lynch was out of government. His second period as Taoiseach began in July 1977. From then until Jack Lynch resigned in December 1979, Pádraig Faulkner held the ministry for Posts & Telegraphs and Transport & Power.
