Uranus takes 17 hours and 24 minutes to make a rotation, which is its "sidereal day" as one would observed from the motion of stars at its equator.

The "solar day" on Uranus varies dramatically by specific location on its surface (which is all dense atmosphere overlaying a slushy, hot ammonia-water ocean). Due to the more than 90-degree tilt of Uranus compared to its orbital plane, the length of a day near the poles can vary from a few seconds every 17 hours (pointed away from the Sun) to more than 42 Earth years (pointed toward the Sun). But areas near the equator experience minimal variation. The planet's lack of a solid surface means that all of this has little significance to the planetary conditions. 24 HOURS Rotational period: 17h 14min 24s

Orbital period: 30,799.095 days, or 84.323326 years

The day length of the interior of Uranus is 17 hours, 14 minutes. However, its upper atmosphere experiences very strong winds in the direction of rotation. In effect, at some latitudes, such as about two-thirds of the way from the equator to the south pole, visible features of the atmosphere move much faster, making a full rotation in as little as 14 hours. 17 hours and 14 minutes in relation to Earth's time.
Uranus spins once on its axis every 17h 14m 24s, so this is its `day` length.

Uranus rotates once around in 17hours, 14 minutes and 24 sec.

Interestingly, it rotates backwards compared to most other planets and its axis is tilted by 97 degrees. This makes answering the question of how long a "day" is more complicated because each pole gets 42 years of continuous sunlight and 42 years of continuous darkness. Other places will get continuous sunlight for part of Uranus's year and a regular day-night cycle other times.

A day on Uranus is between 14 hours and 17 hours and 14 minutes. The time changes because strong atmospheric winds cause it to rotate faster.
