The free trial was recently changed to never end. You can level as many characters as you want to level 20 and have up to 10 gold. During the free trial, you are not allowed to use the public chat channels like trade, general, and lfg. You cant join a guild, and you can not private message someone unless they message you first. Realid does not work on the free trial either.
