Changing the thermostat in a 2004 Chevy Venture typically takes about 1 to 2 hours, depending on your mechanical skill level and whether you have the right tools. The process involves draining the coolant, removing the thermostat housing, replacing the thermostat, and then reassembling everything. It's important to ensure all air is bled from the cooling system after the installation for proper operation. Always consult a repair manual for specific instructions related to your vehicle.
