As long as your dragon is healthy it is not dangerous. If you have any concerns, a fecal check should be done prior to brumation.
The bearded dragon will kill and eat the gecko. Geckos need a completely different environment. It is inhumane!

If the bearded dragon gets too cold it will go to sleep

I think the Chinese water dragon gets bigger, I have one that is over 30" long.
