Vomiting clears the dige stive system, so if the child has been vomiting for more than 12 hours (max), then get him/her to a hospital asap.
As long as needed
No, they should not be fined if their kids skip school. It is none of the school's business if a child skips school so long as the parent phones the school and tells them that their child is not coming to school today. If they do not phone, it is still not the school's business because the child might have a last-minute emergency.
5 to 7 days
Generally, the non-custodial parent should be informed of teacher conferences, parents' night and other school functions. They should be able to attend school functions as long as they maintain a congenial relationship with the custodial parent. The non-custodial parent does not have the right to take the child out of school, visit the child while at school, attend teacher conferences, choose the school, obtain the child's records or contact the school unless they have that right by a court order.Generally, the non-custodial parent should be informed of teacher conferences, parents' night and other school functions. As long as the child is a minor, yes.
Enrolling your child in an online high school program can be challenging, but as long as you are sure the online program you choose is accredited then you should not have a problem moving forward after high school.
Your child should be fever- free for at least 24 hours before sending him/her back to school. Your child should have not vomited for 48 hours before you send him/her back to school. Your child should have had no diarrhea for 24 hours before you send him/her back to school. When a child has a stomach bug, it is common for there to be a 24 hour period of calm after the vomiting phase of the illness before the diarrhea starts. Therefore, 48 hours after vomiting is the minimum time you need to wait to make sure that your child is done having symptoms. (Although, your child will still be contagious for at least 3 days after all symptoms have stopped.) Your child should be able to eat normally, poop normally, and should feel well enough to want to participate in activities he/she enjoys. When in doubt, please keep your child home an extra day or two. If you allow your child to return to school too soon, you risk infecting teachers and other students and also risk your child catching a secondary illness because of his/her weakened condition. Gastrointestinal illnesses can be spread easily in a school setting. Make sure your child (and other family members) wash hands frequently....not only during illness, but always. It is the number one defense.
Child support continues as long as the child is still a dependent; this includes school and university, regardless of age.
A scarf for a child should be long enough to keep the child warm and short enough not to cause any danger to the child, should it be caught in something while tied around the child's neck.
In most States child support ends upon the emancipation of the child. If you and your child's other Parent has entered into an agreement to continue child support beyond high school for college expenses, the child should start school after the summer ends, unless otherwise stated or agreed. If however, the child is sick, or has a good reason to postpone school, you should have your agreement modified to specify when the child is to start college and should he/she quit school or produce failing grades, child support ends. Good Luck.
A mother is supposed to support her child through high school, as long as the child remains in school. Children are not required to support their parents.
