it depends how much glue you put on them! and if the glue is a waterproof type but id say to be safe dont put them in water. When you shower try keep your hands out the water. but if you put a lot if glue on your nails and let the false nail dry then it should be ok in the swimming pool just make sure you dont swim to long. 1 hour at most id say. hope i helped. :)

when I get my nails done they use super glue but they do not glue the entirefake nail onto my real nail. but at home if im using fake nails I use super glue, it doesn't stay on too long,guess im not careful enough.but I would say yes, im sure it would damage your real nail abit thou

If you are talking about glueing fake nails then here is my answer: It would not work as well as proper nail glue and probably wouldnt hold it on as long. I dont think it would rip your nails like regular nail glue :) I would give it a try!! X

On average 5-11 days. (at home nails) It honestly depends on the Brand, how much you do with your hands in a normal day, and also how strong your nails are. Believe it or not there are more brands of nail polish that than probably is makeup. OPI is a nice strong brand, and they have a large variety of colors. if you write a lot, or do a lot of heavy lifting, I would recommend a top and bottom coat. Also, find a cuticle cream, or green tea nail strengthener, it will improve the health of your nails, (as well as vitiman E, and Biotin.) Healthy Nails, are Happy Nails. Happy Nails, Hold Polish.

Here is a step-by-step list I made: 1. Clean nails with soap and make sure nail has no old nail polish. 2. Get some scissors and cut all nails to equal lenghths, then get a file and smooth them out. 3. Next, if you want, you can apply a nail polish and a top coat. Or you can leave them plain. 4. If you bite your nails, think about the times when you actually commit this action and try to stop yourself. And think about how beautiful your nails will be after they grow long. 5. After you have finished they should be beautiful. Or if you do not want to do this you can go and get a manicure! I recently turned 11 years old and I, right now, have red and green nail polish on! Good LucK! -Eugenie You can also get fake nails for like about $5 at walmart and then get nail glue which is located in the same section as the nails and apply the nails on with the nail glue because they will stay on better if you use the nail glue.
