it depends on what you are aiming to do if you are trying to cheat the test you should drink as much as u can for 24 hours before the test this will not clean your system like a lot of people would have you believe but would hopefully dilute it enough so that the test will not pick it up the drug will be most apparent at the beginning of you wee and at the end of your wee so try to fill the sample in the middle of your wee also try to get some vitamin b so color your wee as a lot of doc are suspicious of leukemic wee take this 4 hours before your wee if u have nothing to worry about then drink as little as possible o and try to wee at least three time before you take your test as this will help u flush the bulk of the drug if u get the chance try to put some bleach crystals in your wee sample as this should kill most of any evidence in you wee or at least give u an in conclusive and bye you some time to clear you system drinking before the 24 hours is a wast of time as this will not help in any way for the day of the test drugs are in your system for as long as they are you can not change this as i sead you can only hope to dilute it enough so it does not pick up any of the drug in your system good luck

In a laboratories the urine is tested for different components such as PH, color, clarity, odor and specific gravity. Drinking water is only good for home testing.
