If you can avoid it for about 3 weeks, that would be a good thing. The problem with going in natural bodies of water is the bacterial count. So if you do go and enjoy the sea side and yeah the water too, just be sure to wash the piercing out when you can get to a shower and be sure to use liquid antibacterial soap to ensure you kill any nasties that may be lurking around.
