The fast way.....1.5 hours by cutting out a access door and then resealing it.
The correct way......3.0 hours to remove the complete inner fender.......
Remove the wiring harness from the back of your 1980 Chevy Camaro heater blower motor. Remove the blower motor retaining bolts. Remove the fan from the front of the blower motor. Reverse the process to install the new blower motor.
hi the blower motor is under the dash, passenger side rite above the spot where your passengers feet are, usually it takes a 7mm socket. thanks Not a 7mm. It is a Camaro... They don't use mm at all.
The blower motor relay on a 1980 Cadillac Coupe Deville is situated on the passenger side. It is located in the vicinity of the firewall and is just below the windshield.
Under dash on passenger side
right side firewall under right fender
Yes. I'd replace the brake lines from the rear distribution block, but the answer is yes.
i am looking for drivers side floor pan 1980 camaro ---- http://www.classicindustries.com/camaro
a 350 TPI OR A LT1 OR A LS DEPENDING ON WHAT TYPE OF APPLICATION UR GOING FOR .IN THE 80S MODEL CAMARO IT WAS A 305 V8 T.B.I ENGINE
Looking at the procedure in my 1980 GM service manual and comparing it to my 1984 G20 van, it apears to be simple process. 1983 should be very close. Negative battery cable must be disconnected. Coolant recovery tank and power antenna need to be removed. Blower motor lead wire is disconnected. Blower motor mounting screws (number may vary) are removed. Blower motor and wheel (cage) are removed as an assembly by prying gently on the blower flange. The sealer may be damaged in the process. The wheel can be removed from the motor. Apply new bead of sealer to the entire circumference of the mounting flange of the new motor. Installation is reverse of removal.
