There has been no announcement of an actual video sequel to Tangled (2010).

Disney released a 6-minute short, Tangled Ever After, which was a sequel to the original Tangled movie. Tangled Ever After premiered before the 3D theatrical release of Beauty and the Beast in January 2012. Since then, the short film has also been shown on the Disney channel. Tangled Ever After follows Rapunzel and Flynn as they prepare for their wedding. Currently, Disney has no plans to release a full-length feature film as a sequel to Tangled.

The 2012 short Tangled Ever After is the closest thing that will ever be a sequel.The writers got together to plan one but realized she cut her hair so to quote "it's over", however in June 2015 it was announced a TV series would be developed for the Disney Channel for a 2017 premiere. The series will take place in the three years between the events of the movie & 2012 short.

Last answer was bogus, Disney completely denied the report that they were done with fairy tale films. Anyway while there are no current plans for a sequel they said it wasn't out of the question either. See Disney believes that if they are to make a sequel of any of their films, it has to have an extremely strong and compelling story, not just because it did well at the box office.
