1962 - 1970. That's eight years.
Ringo Starr did not play bass guitar. Stuart Sutcliffe did not play drums. Sutcliffe was long gone (and had died) before Starr ever joined the Beatles.
Two of the Beatles have died, yes. But not Ringo Starr. Ringo is alive and well along with Paul Mccartney, and both are still putting out music. John Lennon died in 1980 after being shot several times by a crazed fan. George Harrison died in 2001 after a long and painful battle with lung cancer.
Well, if you ask me, I thought they were all equal. But if you noticed, in every single Beatles movie, Ringo is the star. Not just because his stage name is Ringo "Starr", but because he would've been considered the best. In "A Hard Day's Night" (1964) Ringo was the one who stranded away and the Beatles had to find him before the show started. In "Help!" (1965) Ringo was the one who had the ring, and had gotten kidnapped. In "Yellow Submarine" (1968) Ringo found the rest of the Beatles. And was a big part in discovering the land of the Submarines. So, there's your answer. The best actor was Ringo........but they were all good. and........Ringo starred in a movie long after the Beatles split. "Caveman" (1981)
John Lennon and Paul McCartney originally played under the name "The Quarrymen".The Quarrymen went through a progression of names - "Johnny and the Moondogs", "The Silver Beetles", "Long John and the Silver Beetles", "the Rainbows" before settling on "The Beatles" in August 1960 John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr More Information The name of the band was initially "The Quarrymen" after John Lennon's school Quarry Bank. They then became "The Silver Beetles" and finally, "The Beatles," Pete Best was the drummer before Ringo Starr Ringo Starr's real name is Richard Starkey.
Well the Beatles were a band from around 1962-1970

I'm pretty sure he got married in 1965 then got a divorce in 1975. After he did get remarried but I'm not sure when Long live The Beatles!!!!! :)
Ringo Starr would winKeith Moon is good but NOT as "unique" as Ringo Starr, I believe that Ringo could win in any Drumming Battles, as long as he can hold his drum sticks.

The Beatles split up LONG ago. 2 of them are dead. John Lennon got shot in front of his hotel, and George Harrison dies of cancer. Ringo Starr, (drummer) and Paul McCartney (bass player/ singer) are still alive and continue to write music, but they are not considered "The Beatles" anymore.
I would assume he wants to live as long as he possibly can, given that several other members of the Beatles died tragically and far too young. It is worth noting that many of his fans feel he never received the credit he deserved for his contributions to the Beatles, so they are especially glad he is still alive and making music for a new generation.
