It is 10.08 meters as actually measured, the original design was 33'6+5/8", but the Australian built boats are a few inches shorter due to the bow being slightly truncated to fit the forestay attachment. Beam is 3.08 metres

The shell was then transported to Melbourne and fitout was completed by her first owner Marty Still and she was launched in Oct 1984. He named her Shanty and cruised her for many years. After purchase by the McIntryres for loan to Jessica Watson for her trip, several months were spent totally refurbishing the boat and her name was changed to Pink Lady.
