I have one at 250+K....The previous owner had already replaced the head gasket, which is what normally goes on these, and I've been running it for close to 10K now.. A broken fuel line return and a leaking brake line are the only 2 repair probs that I've had . As long as they are maintained they should last a while :)
The last model year for a Pontiac sunbird was 1995. It was replaced by the Pontiac Sunfire, which is no longer in production either.
that was happening on my 99 sunfire gt last year i just put red lock tight on the inside hole and let it dry for about 1 hour and they never came out since
Trick question there is no 2004 Pontiac sunbird. 1994 sunbirds which is the last year have the oil filter by the right side wheel well, this is similar for the "Sunfire" of later years.
My grandson had to replace the motor mounts on his Pontiac Grand Prix last year and now the mechanic says they need replaced again. He has hardly driven it. How can that be
1998 in 1999 they became montanas it is still the same van
assuming that it was serviced properly, youre brakes should last around 2 years under easy driving conditions ( you dont drive the crap out of it). 2 years
I believe it was 67 for the GTO.I believe it was 66. the 400 came out in 67
For a start. It has to do with the rear suspension in the struts. GM greased them for me but that did'nt last. They need to be replaced and that can be costly, so I just live with it.Hope this helps ....Ken
there is no timing belt on these vehicles! only one chain, and there(supposed) to LAST.
remove the panel underneath the glove box. What you're looking for is the resistor chip not a fuse i had this problem last week. it is behind the fan motor.
The last of the 12 valves was in the 1998 models. 1998.5 models upgraded the interior design but kept the 12 valve motor. In 1999 the 24V motor was introduced and ran into the 2002 model year.
bad tourche convertor broken fly wheel, bad gear syncronizer, motor mounts trans mount, clutch plate damaged , the barmufaschnizier mounting module last but not least its a pontiac!!!!!!
