One thing to consider in trying to find out the length of time the lifevest will float is the size of the vest and the weight pulling down on it. Also the quality of vest.
What sediment float in the water
an egg can float in salt water.
no an egg does not float in regular water.
Octane float on water.
Not very well or for very long.
it will float as long as it is not fully covered water.
Yes. That sort of defines "float".
I don't think theres an age long as they've got a lifevest and you keep hold of them...
Ones with less density than water. No matter what the mass is, as long as it is less dense than water, it will float.
for a hour or so
As long as the can of Crisco is less dense than water it can
false
As long as it can displace a volume of water equal to its mass (ie its density is less than that of the water) it will float. Most paper will have a density less than that of water (or can be so folded) so will float.
it take 30
You should leave your float plan for the weekend with a friend or relative.
ANSWER:A life preserver or lifevest will work. Or to aid in swimming, an empty gallon jug with a screw on cap should be sufficient to keep a person buoyant and comes with a handle. That's what we used in the boy scouts.
Indefinitely. Someting will float as long as its density is less than that of the fluid it is suspended in. So a baloon will float until the volume decreases to the point it is more dense than air or diffusion exchanges enough gas for the same to happen. Some wood will float in water until it absorbs enough water to no longer be less dense than water.
