I would try to use a cut avocado by the next day; maybe it would still be good the day after. It keeps better if you leave the pit in the cut half. The cut surface might turn dark, but you can scrape that off. Or try sprinkling lemon juice on the cut part before you refrigerate the leftover. Surprisingly, mashed avocado (like guacamole) freezes very well, but only if you make sure that no air remains in the freezer bag.

It depends upon whether you bought the avocado hard or soft. For a hard one, I've kept one in the fridge up to a week. If it is soft, better use it up quickly, like in a couple of days. Those things deteriorate rather quickly.

This food will keep for up to 4 days in the refrigerator. Place the food in an air tight container. It then can be transferred to the freezer for further storage time.

it depends on how ripe the avacado is. if it was really ripe when you put it in the fridge it will only last a day if not a few hours.
