...Are you asking how many pictures can be taken on one battery charge or are you asking how many times you can recharge a battery before it quits? The former has no definite answer because it depends on the camera and how how frequently you use the flash. Literature with the camera or from a review of the camera should give you your answer. Some replacement batteries may have a higher capacity than the original battery and will allow you to take more pictures.
...The latter also has no definite answer. Is is a function of the nature of the battery you bought and how many times you recharged it. I have owned 5 different digital cameras and have never had a battery become unusable. I have read that some inexpensive replacement batteries die with only a few months use but that has not been my experience. I would recommend you always have 2 (or more) batteries so you are never stuck with not having a workable battery but wanting to take pictures.
