Bread will never be as fresh as the day it is made. To keep bread "fresh" for more than a day, preservatives and dough conditioners will be needed. Shelf life will depend upon several things, including: the formulation, quality of ingredients, processing conditions, handling, and storage. Unless the bread becomes moldy, it can be safe to eat even when it dries out.

Bread can stay good when stored in the refrigerator only a few days past keeping it outside of the refrigerator. Bread has a habit of absorbing smells and moisture from the refrigerator. Freeze bread for storage and thaw out what you will need. It will last this way for months.

About 1-2 weeks or possibly longer, if stored in the refrigerator. If not kept in the fridge, figure on less than 1 week. If you want to keep it longer, store it in the freezer.
