bungie wont ban you for getting credits but if you overdue and get tons of credits like 50 thousand they will get suspicious and ban you for credit manipulating but there is no way to tell how much time you will get banned for its depending on how many credits you get from manipulating

No, Bungie is no longer working on halo games from what I believe, and by the way Halo reach is a prequel, not its own series, therefore it already has a sequel, Combat Evolved, the first Halo game, which is being remade by Bungie :)
