A new ice machine? Ours takes 48 hours to produce a full tub of ice.
At 70 degrees it would take 24 hours to melt 2000 lbs of ice
Pepper, on its own, will not melt ice.
Depends on the temperature of the heat that you're applying on the ice.
Ice cream at room temperature melts.
5 secs
it doesnt
40 min
it would probably take about five minutes for the ice cube to actually melt
that depends on the size of the ice cube, how much salt, and the ambient temperature.
it doesn't take long if you know how to do it properly, just get to the rubber which would probably take about 5-10 mins and then it comes out easily
It depends on your ice cream maker. If you use a gel canister model, 20 minutes. Longer and your ice cream starts to melt. An ice and salt ice cream freezer can take a bit longer. Compressor ice cream makers take between 35-40 minutes. For more on the different kinds of ice cream makers and how they work, see The Ice Cream Maker (link below).
