It would take approximately 5 and 3/4 hours to drive from Brighton to Snowdonia. It is of course advisable to leave extra time particularly as your journey would take you along a section of the M25, and also along motorways around Birmingham. It would be advisable to take the M6 Toll road too, as this is nearly always very clear. Even off the motorways, the smaller roads in North Wales can sometimes be tricky, particularly if you are behind a slow moving vehicle!

Once in the region you would need to add a little extra time to get to your final destination and to perhaps explore. Some good route planners can be found online such as:
