The point isn't how long it would take to come out of your system, but the fact you quit for 2 years (good for you) is essential so why run the risk of one smoke! People who have smoked in the past and managed to quit know they are similar to alcoholics or drug users and it only takes that one drink, that one glass of alcohol or that one hit to get the person back in the habit again. If you had one cigarette for a day it would take at least two days for it to come out of your system and drinking that water (8 - 8 ounce glasses of water) to help flush the nicotine out of your system.
