Well, we did a mummification of some fruits in school, and it took a couple of weeks, but we learned that it would take a couple of months tops
2, embalming & wrapping the body
about 72 days to mummify someone. during that time the family mourns by wearing black and eating so little they almost starve.
people mumified other people because of their religion. like over in Egypt you would mumify people in hopes that they would make it into another life. it was religious that they would embalmb you and take out all of your organs and place them in a vase. when this was compleate your heart would be wieghed to see weather you were a good or bad person
On average it would take 30 minutes but with the acient folks it would take well over a day. They would have to mourn over the animal and then have the animal parade where peoiple would dress up like the animal. The would bury the animal with gold and jewels. In the later years burglers woulddig up these animals for their jewels. They would mostly bury house cats, dogs, and their work horses. Sometimes you will find a camal or a pet monkey.
It took over 70 days to mummify one human being.
when people died in ancient Egypt it was tradition and part of their religion to mummify them, but mostly they only mummified important or rich people. They believed that if they did this the person that died would have a good after life and they believe that they could also take their position with them to the after lifeas well.
It all depends on how fast you walk. It would take some people more than twice as long as other people.
They would die, and it wouldn't take very long.
when the special people in Egypt mummify the king/paroah they mummfy the body but take the heart out and they put in these special gold jars which is kept on a table in the pyramid.
That would depend. For most people it would take forever. For an American or Canadian it would take only minutes.
