The answer to this question depends on many things. First of all, different people walk at different speeds, but most people walk at a rate of between two and three miles every hour.
A slow walker (one travelling 2mph) would take almost 605 hours, or about 25 days. A fast walker (going 3mph) would make the same trip in 403 hours, or 17 days. So the simple answer is: "Probably between 17 and 25 days".
The problem with these calculations, though, is that in the above examples, our walkers never stopped to eat, rest, sleep or take bathroom breaks. These delays could add a lot of time to the trip. If our walker slept for 8 hours each day, and spent the rest of the time walking, the trip would take between 25 and 37 days, depending on walking speed. If the walker slept for 8 hours each day, but also spent three hours a day finding a place to sleep, buying food to eat on the go, and getting ready each morning, we are looking at 31 to 46 days.
Also, someone who is out of shape might have to rest more. If the walker is carrying a lot of supplies, they may travel more slowly. People also travel more slowly over rough or rocky terrain, or if they spend a lot of the time heading up hill. There are so many things that can affect the answer, that it is very difficult to calculate how long it would take to complete this journey.
Realistically, for most people, though, a journey of 1209 miles would probably take from 4 to 7 weeks. It isn't really possible to get more precise without a lot more information.
well if we assume it takes between 10-20 minutes to walk one mile, then twelve miles could take about 144 minutes which is rather a long time to walk if its raining, and since its almost always raining here, i should think a bus or a taxi would be the best bet.
the giant casue way is 15 miles long and would take forever to walk. nuff sed.
It will take 3 hours.
depends on how fast you walk
Firstly, it would actually be impossible to walk to the South Pole because South America is separated from Antarctica by Drake Passage, which is a body of saltwater connecting the Atlantic and Pacific Ocean. Assuming that "magically" you could walk across the Drake Passage, the trip would be about 10,000 miles. At 20 miles per day, walking EVERY day, it would take 500 days. However, very few people are accustomed to walking 20 miles per day, every day, so trip would be longer.
it would probobly depend on how fast you are going-if you are walking, in a car, on a bike, etc.......
How long does it take to walk 0.21 miles
How long would it take to walk o.22 miles? Thanks
It depends on how fast you can walk.
It would take about 2 days to travel by horse 50 miles so it would take about 4 days to walk it.
At roughly 3 MPH it would take you about 4 minutes to walk the 0.2 miles.
If you were to walk 5 miles per hour, it would take you 2 hours and 10 minutes.
It would take about 2 months, 2 weeks, and 3 days
it would take john 2 hours to walk 8 miles....
Given that the average person walks about 3 miles per hour, then it would take them 4 hours to walk 12 miles.
About five and a half days.
About 15 to 20 minutes.
Uh
