Becoming a traveling nurse requires no more schooling than becoming a permanent nurse. Nurses can become a registered nurse with a 2 year associate's degree or they can choose to get a bachelors degree in 4 years.
Either degrees qualifies them to become an RN, however a BSN will give them better opportunities for career advancement and will allow them to pursue a a MSN in the future.
I graduated from High School back in the 1980's and never went to college. I worked as a CNA and recently went to Phlebotomy school and became certified. I want to know what I need to do if I went back to college to become a registered nurse?
