987,342 in aggregate (650,000 in Uncirculated and 337,342 in Proof). Note that the Uncirculated and Proof versions, while having the same design, were of different sizes (13.3375g and 27mm as compared to 16.9655g and 25mm), purity (58.3% gold as compared to 91.7% gold) and Actual Gold Weight (0.2500 troy ounces as compared to 0.5002 troy ounces).
The only 1976 Canadian coin honoring the Olympics that had a beaded edge that I'm aware of is a C$100 gold coin that was produced in both beaded (KM#115) and plain edged (KM#116) versions. The beaded version is slightly larger, but uses gold that is not as pure.
Note that the edge itself is not beaded; rather, there is a beaded border just in from the edge on both the front and back of the coin.
For the sake of completeness, the beaded coin is 27mm in diameter, weighs 13.3375 grams and is 58.3% gold, giving it an AGW (Actual Gold Weight) of 0.2500 troy ounces. 650,000 of the beaded coins were produced. It was produced in Uncirculated condition.
The plain border coin is 25mm in diameter, weighs 16.9655 grams and is 91.7% gold, giving it an AGW (Actual Gold Weight) of 0.5002 troy ounces. 337,342 of the plain edge coins were produced in Proof condition.
Both coins bear an image of Queen Elizabeth the Second on the front, below which portrait are the words "Elizabeth II" and "CANADA 1976" separated by a maple leaf. The back has images of past and present Olympic figures with the denomination to the right, the dates "776 BC - 1976 AD" to the left, and a Greek word "OLYMPIADES" and the number "21" (representing the 21st modern Olympiad, which took place in Montreal in 1976) below.
