I'm assuming it is the same as the ( 1996 ) model year of Mercury Cougar :
( there are 5 lug nuts for each wheel / total of 20 )
there is 5 lugs on each wheel/rim there is 20 lugs total!
On a 2003 Ford Explorer : There are ( 5 lugs ) for each wheel , total of ( 20 )
is this a real question? Of corse not, one has 8 lugs and the other has 6 lugs. some 8 lugs dont fit other 8 lugs.
5x114.3
yes if both have 5 lugs

Maybe, with out knowing bolt patterns,
No, an 8x170 rim will not fit a vehicle with an 8x6.5 lug pattern. The numbers represent the bolt pattern, with the first number indicating the number of lugs and the second number indicating the distance in inches between the lugs. Since the two measurements differ, they are not compatible.
This is a joke right? Same as any vehicle. You loosen the lugs, place your jack under the frame and jack it up, then take the lugs off and pull the tire and rim off and put the new ones on, and hand tighten the lugs and lower the jack so you can tighten the lugs the rest of the way.
As long as they have the same amount of lugs or holes on the rim, they will fit.
Brazilian vw beetles used 14 inch rim 4 lugs .
Pacific Rim Swimmers of the Year was created in 1995.
