While the US Military no longer records the specific religion or denomination of its military as it did before the Vietnam War, efforts have been made by various religious groups to ascertain such an answer.
In the current issue of The Jewish Veteran published by the Jewish War Veterans of America, there is an article listing the photos, names, ages, and hometowns of forty(40) known Jewish U.S. armed forces members killed in Iraq and Afghanistan. It's important that the public is so informed as to counter those bigots who say otherwise.
