There were around a million of these coins struck, so they are not particularly rare. They have just shy of a full ounce of silver in them (0.8407 ozt ASW to be precise), so circulated examples are worth anywhere between $18 and $40 each at the moment.
When independently graded as being in premium "mint" condition, they can bring more than $300.

∙ 15y agoNone. A Crown is a Five Shilling coin. There are 20 Shillings in a Pound, therefore, there are 4 Crowns in a Pound. 1937 and 1938 were the only two years Australia minted a Crown coin.
