A commercial Blu-Ray disk (i.e. a movie) has a capacity of 50 Gb.
A CD has a capacity of 650 Mb, a DVD (single density) has 4.7 Gb and a DVD-DL has 8.5 Gb
So one Blu-Ray disk would require 6 DVD-DL disks, 11 single-layer DVDs, or 77 CDs for an equivalent amount of storage.
With that said, most disks are not filled to 100% capacity with programming/ content, so fewer disks may be required. But then, dividing up a large disk into smaller portions also requires some overhead (each disk requires certain formatting and directory structures), which could increase the number of disks.
There are many ways to clean the data on a hard drive disk. These ways include erasing and formatting, data wiping aka data dump, and disk wiping stands.
A single side of a DVD-R has 2,294,922 data sectors for 12 cm disk. For an 8 cm disk the amount of sectors is 712,891.
A Bluray disc can store up to 50GB of data (the maximum storage size is not specified in the standard so data capacity may be higher in some discs. A CD will store approximately 700MB of data, about seventy minutes of stereo music in CD format. One Bluray disc should store the contents of at least 70 CDs. Because music CDs are rarely filled to capacity, in practice, it is likely that more than 70 will fit onto a single Bluray disc or about 83 hours of music. If CDs are converted into MP3 files, the data size can be reduced substantially. Using an MP3 data rate of 128KB, the data size is reduced by a factor of 10 so in excess of 830 hours of music can be stored on a single disc. 800 hours of music will last almost 5 weeks if played continuously and that should be enough for people even with the most varied musical tastes.
There are many specialists available for hard disk recovery, one of which is Stellar data recovery. They solves the recovery issue with their specified softwares and it retrieves all the lost files.
They can only fit about 5mb of data or mabie even less
Calculated size of floppy disk to hold the data is 1.47 MB while the actual size of it is 1.44 MB the difference is of 0.03 MB.explain
many disk games have the same issue, the disk is probably scratched where that bit of data was stored

There are many CD, DVD and Bluray rippers available that extract data from discs and format them to be stored as a data file on a hard disc. There are too many to begin to offer suggestions and it is worth noting that DVD rippers are the subject of widespread spam. Most recommendations see on web sites are nothing more than self promotion. Most DVD and Bluray rippers will copy data without losses. Be aware that many rippers extract data against end user licence agreements and their use can be illegal in some jurisdictions. Always ensure that you have the right to copy the data before doing so.
There does not appear to be any statistical data regarding how many people still own a USB flash disk. However, over $13 million are estimated to have been sold.
Absolutely. Most DVDs hold less than 5gb of data (dual layers less than 9gb) while hard discs today can hold many terabytes of data.
