That's determined by the manufacturer. These days, a "small" hard drive is 160 GB, while a large one may be 2 terabytes; 2048 gigabytes. Within a few years, there will be petabyte drives available; 1024 terabytes!
Typically a 60 GB Ultra ATA Fujitsu 4200rpm hard drive
Because when the hard drive is formatted it has less than its original capacity, same as on a PC or Mac hard drive.
you need to have a nice 6.1 GB on your hard drive with at least 1 extra GB for custom content and saved games so you're looking at 7 GB for PC and Mac.
Yes the 250 Gb hard drive has a lot of room for graphics and the laptop is always upgradable, having a great DVD drive in it.
You do the proper research and stop trying to get people to do your homework for you.
get a new pc, or at least a new hard drive! you can "move" space from one drive to another, but you can move files from one drive to the other. you could easily double your storage space for under $40
Yeah, ps3's uses a hard drive just like a normal pc. You just have to buy a 2.5" hard drive and install it. Some people have tried using a 3.5" hard drive, but then they place it outside the console. Not very nice, but alot cheaper and better ;)
Including all the DLC 12244MB is the amount of hard drive space Borderlands takes up. So that's just over 12 Gigabytes. However the base game without any of the DLC should take up about 8 Gigabytes.
there are 2 ways a hard drive can be used for storimng music say if your hard drive is 30 gb but you have 500 gb of music movies and software obvioulsy not gonna fit on 30 gb so that's the answer then on recording aspect i use my harddrive to run protools off of which is a recording studio and it runs so much faster and smoother :) floppies suck btw so 1980s lol
It depends on what you are going to do with it. If you need to store lots of information, you should get at least 30 gigabytes. Games and movies require lots of memory too.
The first option is to replace the SATA hard drive that is inside a desktop PC or laptop. The second option is to use an external hard drive. No matter which choice is selected, the most important feature is the total memory capacity. Both type of hard drives usually have enough space for at least several hundred Gigabytes (GB.) Several Terabytes (TB) is typically the limit of most modern hard drives. Installing a SATA hard drive is more difficult than plugging in an external USB hard drive. The SATA type requires some manipulation of the power cables connected to the motherboard and computer's power supply.
