375 houses got hit by the flood.
25:):):):):):)
93 houses were flattened and badly damaged
The York flood of 2000 was caused by too much rain at one time. The water reached the first floor of the houses! But I don't know how much damage it caused, how many people died, how many houses were destroyed or how long it took to clean up so if you know any of the answers PLEASE comment below to tell me ;)
There are many irreplaceable items that can be lost during a floor due to water damage. Often if left for a while water damage can ruin anything. Photographs from weddings or baby books are often irreplaceable. Personal items such as wedding rings or mementoes from a first date could be swept away in a flood. The most irreplaceable loss cause by a flood is life.
However many you come up with, add mine as it was flooded in 1968. That is after 1952 isn't it? Or are you really not interested in my house because you were too vague in your question. Are you referring to a specific flood? In a specific location? Did you mean to ask "How many houses were flooded by the flood at __?"
no one was killed
It destroy houses and community. Many people died because of flood.
it damage many houses.
millions
No. There were many people air-lifted off the top of their houses and more taken from the flood water but none were killed.
There are many UK companies providing flood damage repair such as Allkare, UKcommercialcleaning and Regency Restoration. A look in your local yellow pages is highly recommended for local services.
