You got to understand that statistics include the dead, the wounded and the poisoned persons that died 5 to 10 days later. The statistics of how many survived compared to the actual sense of 1940 doesn't exits.
The military who had to enter the main land.
Yes.
It ended the war and probably saved lives.
It saved millions of Russian, Japanese, American, Canadian, British and Australian lives by preventing the invasion of mainland Japan. The amount of lives lost in the bombing was not even close to the amount of Japanese who would have died during the invasion of Japan. The war ended AT LAST.
The bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki is a highly contentious topic. Supporters argue that it hastened the end of World War II and saved lives by avoiding a prolonged invasion of Japan. Critics contend that the bombings caused immense civilian suffering and question whether Japan was already on the verge of surrender. Ultimately, the effectiveness of the bombings is debated, reflecting complex moral, military, and humanitarian considerations.
The port cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were nuclear-bombed to stop the War without invading Japan (Which was about ready to be done when the bombs were dropped) which saved millions of Allied and Japanese lives. A number of Japanese Navy officers after the Japanese surrender expressed their approval, as their Army was not about to surrender until everyone in Japan was dead. A lot of people do not realize that many more Japanese were killed in the ongoing bombing of Tokyo with conventional weapons, than were killed by both nuclear bombs.
The USA atomic bombed Hiroshima (1) and Nagasaki (2) after Japan refused to surrender. Japan surrendered after the bombing of Nagasaki. More people died when Tokyo (1st) and Dresden (2nd) then died at Hashim (3rd) and Nagasaki (4th). The atomic bombing of the two cities brought the war to a speedy end and saved countless lives.
She invented spray-on skin and she saved the lives of 28 Bali bombing's victims in 2002
It is more than sufficient to justify this conclusion. Nonetheless, the witless litany, the lie that that bombing "saved the lives of a million Americans." -signed confessions of U.S. Secretary of War Henry Stimson-

At the time probably since it was necessary demonstrated the new weapon and saved many lives, but US also had no idea there would be so many deaths after the fact because of the radiation. With that knowledge back then maybe the answer would have been no. Nagasaki is debatable because given more time to investigate (and find out was really only one bomb) Japan probably would have surrendered without another bombing.
The justification for the dropping of the two atomic bombs was to save lives. Without the atomic bombs America would have had to invade Japan and there would have been hundreds of thousands of casualties. If America had invaded Japan then many Americans and Japanese would have died in the urban warfare that would have ensued. The Japanese would have literally fought to the death, and the war would have lasted another year.I believe that the dropping of the atomic bombs saved more lives than were lost in the explosions.yes
