Alaska, specifically Attu & Kiska islands which are in the western Aleutian Islands. Japanese troops landed on these islands in June 1942. These islands were retaken by US & Canadian troops in 1943.The Japanese attacked Hawaiian military bases, but did not invade. The Japanese invaded & seized Guam & Wake Islands in 1941. Guam is a US Territory, and Wake is a US possession. The Japanese invaded & seized the Philippines Islands which was a US Territory during the war, that is now an independent nation.
The Japanese invaded some of the Aleutian Islands. There were battles on them. Many hundreds of Japanese and American were killed. There are now memorials and parks, such as on the Island of Attu, dedicated to the men who fought to protect the US mainland from the Japanese forces. Sadly many of the men who went to the islands, including the Army Engineers, not only succumbed to injuries they had to treated for trench foot or rather frostbite and some lost their lives due to the harsh environment of Alaska. The US Army had to learn a hard lesson not to send soldiers into cold environments without proper clothing and gear. The Eskimos were hired to help with defense and keeping an eye out for the Japanese. They also taught the US soldiers how to dress, sleep and eat properly in the freezing storms and weather. Some of these Eskimos were given special recognition and I believe a few received medals. See the link below and follow some of the links on that web page when you read it.

Literally Rizal was killed by Filipino soldiers! Lower rank soldiers who were the Filipino soldiers killed him because if they won't, higher ranking Spanish soldiers who were at their back will shoot them instead.

None. Hawaii (Pearl Harbor) and Alaska (the Aleutians) were not US States yet.ANSWERFirst, there was the attack on Pearl Harbor, Hawaii (which was not yet a state), where the Japanese bombed and destroyed many navy ships, and killed thousands of American soldiers.Second, there was the Aleutian Islands campaign, in which Japan and the U.S. fought over the Aleutian Islands (part of Alaska, which was a state), which was an important and strategic location, not only for a nation to attack the other, but to protect the nation from the other. Of course, (after about a year), the U.S. drove the Japanese out.

Roughly 11,000 allied (Australians, New Zealanders, and Americans) were killed. 80,000 Japanese troops were killed.
Yes there ARE GHOSTS in Corregidor island. They are spirits of Japanese, American and Filipino soldiers who perished during the war! One particular disturbed souls is that of an American soldier who committed suicide before he could be killed by the Japanese soldiers
Though, there's a varying estimate of Indian soldiers killed during World War 2, but official estimate is 36000 soldiers, mostly killed in Europe, Northern Africa against German Forces and in Burma against Japanese Army.
90,000-166,000 people in Hiroshima and 60,000-80,000 in Nagasaki.
